New London-based duo Phelt have recently released their very encouraging debut EP Rockpools. We’re particularly enjoying ‘Bramble’ from said EP, which is a sun-drenched scintillating affair. The guitar work is exceptional throughout, and production-wise, the pair have created a genuine sound that lets the listener instantly escape to the crystal clear waters depicted in the EP’s artwork. The project is all somewhat under the radar at the moment, with only a handful of fans to their name, but on the strength of ‘Bramble’, and the EP from which it’s been lifted, Phelt could be a name to look out for in the months to come.
